Bonnie Mackintosh (Ed.D. '17) is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Nebraska Academy for Early Childhood Research / Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families, and Schools, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She joins research groups investigating the implementation of early learning policies and programs, malleable factors associated with early achievement, and pre-K to Grade 3 transitions.Her dissertation, A Matter of Perspective: An Exploratory Study of the Relationship Between Early Math Skills and Social Competence of Children from Low-Income Families, focused on the relationship between young children’s social competence (e.g., social problem-solving, relationships with others) and early math skills.
